Google Instant is a new search enhancement that shows results while typing. This is about pushing the limits of technology and infrastructure to help in getting better search results, faster. The key technical insight was that people type slowly, but read quickly, typically taking 300 milliseconds between keystrokes, but only 30 milliseconds (a tenth of the time!) to glance at another part of the page. This means that you can scan a results page while you type.
The instant works on every character entered in search bot and results vary as typing goes on. Moreover till you finish typing the changing instant search results remain blur.
This advancement has resulted in to faster searches, smarter search results and instant results. It is a big leap from the previous major advancement in searching when a word is typed and Google shows further recommendation in a combo way.
Google +1 button
Today we’re taking that a step further, enabling you to share recommendations with the world right in Google’s search results. It’s called +1—the digital shorthand for “this is pretty cool.” To recommend something, all you have to do is click +1 on a webpage or ad you find useful. These +1’s will then start appearing in Google’s search results.
Google have said that they will be rolling out the new Google +1 feature to search starting with English on Google.com, but you can trial the feature now by visiting their experimental search site.
